Three mandatory deductions
Every employee contributes to three government funds. SSS covers pensions and benefits (5% employee share, capped at a ₱35,000 salary credit). PhilHealth funds health coverage (2.5% employee share). Pag-IBIG is the housing fund (2%, capped at ₱200 a month).
Your employer pays a larger matching share on top of yours.
